first_img Tuesday, October 18, 2016 TORONTO — NewLeaf Travel Company and Flair Airlines are set to launch seasonal routes from Calgary starting Dec. 16.Passengers will be able to fly to and from YYC Calgary International Airport to Abbotsford, Hamilton, Halifax and Moncton. The routes are available for a limited time, between Dec. 16 and Jan. 8. Tickets are now on sale.“We actually didn’t anticipate to be operating from Calgary within the first five months of operation, however there is a big demand from Calgarians. So, we are thrilled to provide Southern Albertans with low fares for the holiday season. We have had tremendous interest and support already so we are anticipating great success … and who knows, there could be more for the region,” said NewLeaf Travel Company President & CEO, Jim Young.Regular domestic flight service will be offered seven days a week during the holiday period. Included in this schedule are the following airports: Abbotsford, Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Hamilton, Halifax and Moncton. Some flights during the holiday season are nearly sold out, added Young.
