Prisoner escapes from hospital in Ggn

first_imgGurugram: The Gurugram police was left red-faced on Monday evening after one of the prisoners identified as Ayush was able to escape from their clutches. The prisoner was admitted to a government hospital Sector-10 for having a high sugar level. Ayush was arrested just a few months back under Sections 420 (cheating), 467 (forgery), 468 (cheating) of the Indian Penal Code.On June 15, he was admitted to the government hospital in Gurugram’s Sector 10 after his sugar levels shot up. But, on June 17 in the evening, he went to a restroom in the hospital and escaped from a window that he broke. The police have launched a search operation. If other patients are to be believed, Ayush was very soft-spoken and never showed any intent to escape He used to smooth-talk policemen deployed to keep watch on him in the hospital. On June 17, he went to the restroom, locked himself inside and escaped from the window there. Ayush had taken off by the time the police had realised he was absconding. The police are now in search of Ayush and at the same time, top officials are also taking action against the neglect of the cops keeping watch on Ayush in the hospital. “It is an unfortunate incident. We have formed the teams for the search operation and we will be able to get hold of the prisoner soon,” said a senior police official from Gururgam police. This is not for the first time when the prisoner has been successful in escaping from the hold of the law enforcement officials in Gurugram.last_img
