Crystal Palace midfielder still has a future at the club

first_img1 Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has revealed midfielder Adlene Guedioura still has a future at Selhurst Park, despite being sent out on loan to Watford. As talkSPORT told you yesterday, the Algerian international will link-up with the Hornets until January to gain much-needed first-team football, but he is likely to return to the Eagles immediately after the deal expires.Guedioura has made four appearances for Palace in the Premier League this season but has struggled to consistently force his way into Warnock’s plans. However, the Eagles manager believes Guedioura could step up and fill the void left by midfield powerhouse Mile Jedinak next year – who is likely to miss up to four matches because of his Asia Cup commitments with Australia.Warnock said: “He [Guedioura] needed topping up really with some games and we can get him back in for the Christmas period if we want to.“But I just felt that with the people that are going away in January, we need to make sure people are ready to step straight in fitness-wise from January 1. I think Jedinak will be away almost straight away next year.” Adlene Guedioura last_img read more
