first_imgA Mountcharles based Wedding Stationery designer Donna Gormley featured in the highly popular lifestyle and celebrity magazine ‘VIP’, after designing wedding stationery for 2FM’s Jenny Greene. She designed Glastonbury themed stationary for the wedding, which was held in Wineport Lodge, Co. Westmeath.“Glassonbury” was printed on the stationary as both brides are music fans, and Glassonbury is a play on the name of the venue! Donna has always been very interested in art. After leaving secondary school, she studied for a diploma in art and design from the North West Regional College, and then went on to University of Ulster in Derry, where she got her Bachelor of Design in Design and Communication.Donna pointed out that being your own boss comes with its pros and cons. She said; “You need to have a lot of discipline when it comes to keeping on top of the day to day stuff, bills, accounts, and of course, getting the orders out.“But the flip-side is the freedom that goes along with it, and its great – if I have errands to run, or just need some time off, I can work around that, and that’s not something you can do when you work for someone else. “Every days a school day though, there’s always something new to learn, a technique to master, or trends to stay ahead of.”To see more of Donna’s designs you can visit her Facebook page.Young entrepreneur leaves others ‘Greene’ with envy! was last modified: August 3rd, 2016 by Elaine McCalligShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:donna gormleyMOUNTCHARLESVIPWedding Stationarylast_img read more
